A touch of Rennbow's life~
Hey folks!~
Ya ya, I know it's been a while since I last update my blog~....It's been a busy time~
Prepare for charity show, me searching for job, went interview, grandma came , grandma back and grandma come again...Mom and dad fight, peace a moment and fight again..etc...phew~..too exhausted!
Also, started Dennis' class on March, celebrated Teng's birthday, crazy time with RV, Geraldine went Penang for her baby girl (can't wait^^), some confessions were made (shocking but flattering)..Then, recently been enjoying my days chatting with Lucky till crazy EARLY...haha..Laughing too much!..Though, Dad was admitted to hospital for quite sometime edi, Hmm, I told myself, suck it up! Big girls don't cry!...I wanted to face this as calm as I could with all the chaos from family~..It was a really hard time!..Every time trying fake a smile even when I'm dead upset, I just don't want to bring this negative energy to my friends..Laughing so crazily with them, deep down, there's somewhere wounded and I guess I have to let it heal silently...Haih~
Btw, went through a crazy interview, I was short listed from 200 0ver candidates and here I am, they've confirmed me!!!..Wahahahaha...Not bad huh?!
Hopefully I'll enjoy my days working!!..
There's too much to summarize, there's been alot ups and downs...but what keeps me going is the support I got from my relatives and friends. So ya, here I am, still struggle hard to live my life happily and trying to put my problems and sadness behind myself...Remember I used to be the most unlucky girl in the world?..Well not this time, I'm not gonna give in to this so called "fate".. and i'll create my luck on my own!!..Cheers for Renn!!!

dayDream Album Launching, Thai Club, KL
I was invited to the dayDream 1st album launching on 8th of March 2010 at Thai Club, KL. dayDream was the latest band established under ManRoom which was the same company with ManHand. It consist of 6 members, namely Daeren Tan, also one of the members of ManHand; his brother, Ryan Tan; Raja, Ryan, Chris and Jason.
The event started at 2pm, after registration, we were given a door gift which look like a delivery packet. After opening, it was actually their album, uniquely designed with light blue, white and orange tone. I really like that album concept, where you can change their clothes according to your preference, simply symbolizing that our life is full of choices and if you dare to dream, you can rule your destiny.
They came out performing with a catchy light blue mechanic outfit, bringing up the party atmosphere. Everyone was so busy snapping pictures of them including me. Their songs were more singing than rapping based, unlike Manhand. I do enjoy their song anyway,a different feel.
Their 1st album!!..nice design!
The crowd which include media, newspaper reporters and photographers!
dayDream rule the stage!

San Terri Cottage, Times Bookstore, Pavillion
And the story continues...
Previous post was talking about me having my wonderful lunch with wonderful people at a great restaurant, Grandmama's. But the fun doesn't stop there, Stephen brought me into Times Bookstore after the lunch..Thinking to myself, well that was weird, Stephen doesn't seems like someone who'll spend his leisure time reading!..haha...no offense!..Well, the truth is, it was not the books he's bringing me to, but a hidden gem inside the books store!- San Terri Cottage!
San Terri Cottage is located in level 6 Pavillion, inside Times Bookstore. I had totally no idea that there was such a good place hidden in the book store. It was quite, with soothing music giving a very calming feeling. Grab your favorite book, have a cuppa with extreme tempting aroma, match it with cute beautiful cakes..life has never been that perfect!...Aside of coffees and cakes, their menu also consist of a huge varieties of beverages, comestibles and desserts that will definitely tinkle your taste bud!
Soft comfy couch at a hidden corner..best for relaxing!
Stephen was forced to be my model!..haha
Fish eye effect on Stephen^^
Nice quiet environment with tons of books surrounding you!
The cute lovely counter
The cute petite cakes!
They offer sandwiches and other snacks too!
illy espresso machine!
Brewed Coffee!...smells heavenly!
Cappuccino...good companion for an exhausted afternoon!
Green Tea Azuki Swiss Roll!!Yum!!!..FYI, I'm a green tea sucker!
Cafe Latte...smooth and creamy!!
We were chilling happily there after the lunch..Uncle Lau brought his lap top along and showed me his diving pictures with Stephen in Redang Island~~Honestly, I was really glad to spend my afternoon with them, enjoying the real life before going back into reality..Though it was short, it was beautiful!.San Terri, this place is another heavenly place for a sweet escape from the reality tiring life!

Grandmama's, Pavillion KL
Guess we've all been so caught up with our life burden and responsibilities, so badly that we've forgot the main thing in life is to relax and enjoy it..And to do so, a simple "sit down and chat" in a relaxing environment will do the trick..I'm lucky I had a chance to experience this short yet soul comforting moment again on this beautiful afternoon!
It all started with a rushing and unprepared interview in Roche..That morning was a disaster as I was so extreme tired due to the continuous dance rehearsal for the up coming show and the superb lack of sleep on the night before (only 30min)..Guess God must have mercy on me, seeing me so exhausted, God wanted me to have a break, relax and chill...haha... What made me say so???..The interview was delayed and reschedule to another day because the director was not free... And my uncle, Stephen..suddenly gave me a call and invited me for lunch..and the great day started!..
I was introduced to a new dining place in Pavillion, called Grandmama's..I soon discovered that the owner of this place is actually related to the owner of the infamous Madam Kuan's Restaurant, that explains the similarity of the menu...The environment was good, the wooden tables and chairs plus warm lighting created a soft relaxing ambiance. The food, Well let's see..
Warm lighting!
Relaxing environment..great for talk!
Mango Lime Frosties!
Green Tea
Sang Har Ho Fun...recommended by Stephen, it was really full of flavour, not to mention, arteri clogging too!!!..CHOLESTEROL!!!!
Garlic Escargot!..So fragrant, smelling it alone it's already enough to make you drool!
Grilled Chicken...Huge cut of meat, with generous portion of fries!
Prawn hor fun dry version...fresh prawns and smooth noodles!
The 3 gentlemen that I had my lunch with!..Stephen, Uncle Lau and Nick Fai!...My pleasure!
Thanks to Stephen and Uncle Lau for the treat!..And it was nice meeting Uncle Lau..I had a great time chatting with them..They were nice people!..Let's not forget Fai too..Thank Q!..But we didn't end there...After lunch, I was brought to another great place..Where???..Stay tuned for more!~~~

Room Eighteen ( 拾八风味) , Times Square
It was not my 1st time visiting Room Eighteen (拾八风味), a relatively new franchise from Tai Thong Group of Restaurants.I remember it had already successfully tickled my taste bud during the 1st encounter which was the reason for my continuous re-visit!.. Their astounding varieties of food were skillfully concocted by chefs from Hong Kong and China. Despite the "higher-than-average" price, their ingredients were fresh and I don't know whether as it the menu or the environment, I was tempted to order more!..Everything just seems extra delicious~
The cooking area~
The dining area~
Back view of the restaurant~
I love the clean and simple yet catchy deco~
Their beverage counter~
Customers already filling the place early in the morning!
Cutie waiter taking orders carefully~
Mom was 1 difficult customer to please!..Surprisingly he's still smiling there!..
The tempting menu!
Pu er tea~
Oo Long tea~
Hot cocoa~
Iced lemon tea with aleo vera..refreshing!
Citrus Romance...ice shave served with honey sea coconut, nata de coco and grass jelly...honey sea coconut was not available, so it was replaced with mangoes..healthy dessert!
Steam rice with spare ribs...the warm rice was fluffy and flavorful...meat was tender, goes well with the bean paste sauce
Prawn wanton noodle soup...fresh prawn wanton.love the texture!
Thai hot and sour seafood soup!..I'm loving it...not too hot, sourness just right..just the way I like it!
Served with lots of mushrooms and tomato cubes, with fish slices, squid, and prawns..yum yum!
Mom and mom's mom!..mommies!
Mom's mom and mom's friend..the great auntie Sammi...she's like a family!
Grandma...loved always and forever!
Service wise..I was happy from the moment I walked in until the moment left. Their warm greeting, friendly smiles, and attentive service...Honestly, those guys really made my day!..Ou, did I mention we realized majority of their staff were male and we thought they were actually quite cute!!..haha..My eyes were as busy as my mouth the whole time being there!..just kidding!..Nah, dun worry, it won't affect my judgment towards the food!.hehe.....But honestly, they were really friendly!..A staff was so so attentive, he made us felt like a VIP there..He even shake my hand before leaving!..That was so sweet!..haha..Personally, I like it there and definitely will pay another visit soon!
